Survivor's Guide to True Crime Podcast

Kara realized soon after making her story public that there was an absence of information about what it means to be a survivor. Through sharing her story on social media, she met Kim Corban, a fellow survivor sharing her story publicly. The two quickly hit it off with shared experiences, respect for different opinions, and a desire to help people feel seen and understood. Through their friendship, the two started having conversations with each other and other survivors that morphed into an idea of a podcast. 

With the assistance of fellow true crime creator Sarah Turney, the two launched "Survivor's Guide to True Crime" and started releasing weekly episodes on all podcast platforms.
