Somebody Knows Something is the investigative journey of unsolved missing and homicide cases that have captured the nation's attention. In season 1, Kara acts as a host, investigator, and victim's advocate to meet with families, law enforcement, and witnesses in eight cases. In 2025, I received an email from Ari Mark. He had a show idea. It's going to be called Somebody Knows Something and cover cold cases, was I interested to host? I immediately knew that this was an opportunity I'd dreamt of, to move past my story and into a space of hosting, using my story and gifts for another purpose. I wanted to do this, but I had ethicality standards I wanted to uphold. Are the families involved, is there care/support for victims, will there be a call to action? Along the way we've done our best to check every box while covering these cases. This show is one that has potential to change the lives of so many but it really changed MY life as well. Sitting with families and having revelations about my journey while shepherding them through their pain. It's been an honor to learn about Sabrina, Lashaya, Kevin, Steven, Amy, Kyron, Liz and Brandy, and when we get answers for these families, I'll be cheering right alongside their families.
