I wanted to thank you for sponsoring S591: Children’s Default to Safety Act. I am writing to you because this issue is very important to me, and I would like to ask for it to be scheduled to be read in the Committee on Veterans and Family Services. I would like for us to do everything in our power to protect our children from the exposure of pornography that would have a devastating impact on their lives. Mandating that smart phones and other devices have their filters defaulted to "on" at the point of purchase, as well as be passcode protected, makes a lot of sense and could be a very simple and effective way to protect our children!
